A Stagelights social get-together arranged by MAndy Stone, our social Secretary went like clockwork.

It was a gloriuosly sunny day on the 'Barbara McLellan' canal boat at Bradford-on-Avon. We started off witha ascrummy roast pub lunch followed by a very competative gasme of 'Rounders' to run off the calories, then after we were all exhausted from th running around we took to the water like ducks up the Avon and Kennet canal for a leisurely relaxing 3 hour trip... with the rest of the wild life....

On board teh fab Veitch family supplied and served us with frsh strawberries and cream, Home made cakes and ffresh peaches. Rebbecca and Beth made a few pounds towards their special trip next year to Costa Rico and Youg Gracie made a few tips clearing the tables on board. As we passed through the lock gates and the water rushed in we sang (of course) the theme tune of 'The Dambusters'. All in all a jolly good time was had by one and all and fortunately no one fell in the drink, nerarly, but not quite!
