Future Productions

Future productions are decided upon some 10 - 12 months prior to the performance dates.

Anyone who would like to direct any play, panto, musical etc. will give their ideas to the committee for perusal who will then declare who it is that is going to direct which production.

 

 

October 2010 Show

Music Hall Extravaganza

At Page Community Hall, Page Road, Staple Hill, BS16 4NE

Friday 15th October at 7.30p.m. & Saturday 16th October at 2.30 p.m. & 7.30p.m.

This is another of our famous Old Time Music Hall shows that are so well loved by audiences and Stagelights members alike. With over thirty songs from the victorian era this is a show truly not to be missed. with sngs such as

'What Happened to the Manx Cat's Tail'

'The biggest Aspidistra in the World'

'K-K-K-Katy' Laughing Policeman' 'Seaweed'

' Burlington Bertie from Bow'

'I'm afraid of the dark'

'Swing Me Higher Obidiah'

' Don’t ‘Ave Any More Mrs Moore',

'When Father Papered The Parlour',

' See What Percy’s Picked Up In The Park'

'How Pleasant and Delightful'

to name but just a few, and they will all be enacted at the same time as they are being sung so any amount of fun and nonesense will occur, whcih is exactly what was intended when these songs were written some 100 years ago and more.

We have not one but two Masters of Ceremony to keep everything on track and in order as well as our resident comedian adn no end of singers and actors in both our junior and adult sections
