The Wesley Memorial Centenary Summer Variety Show
Friday 6th July 2007
The show was a great success and was enjoyed by nearly a full house. Pauline did a wonderful job in directing us and getting us to where we were in the very short time available for rehearsals. There was a great many fun songs, sketches and really enjoyable moments throughout the show, not least of all our new Band,.'Save The Rave'. We have a wonderful new lady, Alice, whom I'd like to welcome to the club, She has a magical voice and is an asset to our club.
Half way through the show the ladies of the church supplied everyone with a welcome cup of tea and biscuits that went down a treat, so many thanks to them.
Thank you also to the many patrons who came along to support us yet again. We really do appreciate all your support, and we are looking forward to welcoming you yet again on the 28th, 29th & 30th of September at our next Show 'A Blast from the Past' at Emerson's Green Village Hall.
